Game face

I am probably the only one on the planet (with the possible exception of DH and the DS pictured) who find these photos fascinating. I just can't believe it took us so long to figure out A's niche in life. The boy loves to catch and throw. So far this summer has been one of endless delight for him now that he has a mitt and a few balls to toss around.
The other day I spotted him in the back yard tossing a ball on the roof, waiting for it to fall back down and catching it. He did this over, and over, and over again.
The three photos on the top of this entry are a series of him playing catch with Daddy. Don't you love the technique. In spite of the goofy moves, he is remarkably good at the catching throwing business. We need to get him enrolled asap with a ball team.
Jake, buddy! We need you to come visit and give my son a few pointers!

Personal note to MOA. I know you have medical issues going on at your house, but we are planning a trip to Vernal at the end of the month. Any chance you, G and A can meet us there?
E-mail me!

It is amazing! You just can't predict who will be in love with ballgames and who won't. It seems not to be clearly connected with the mesomorph-ectomorph-whatevermorph (anyway not enough to allow you to predict) In short reply we won't know how far we can get from the doctor until the 19th, and not even then for sure. I'll let you know. We have been there (Vernal and we still need to get to California if we can, so who knows. A has swimming lessons the last week of June and the first week of July (after the 4th). It's the only firm committment we have all summer and it looks like it will be in the way. Whoops, not so short.
