Easy like Sunday morning

Every now and then you need to take a day when you don’t do anything, and don’t feel bad about it. Today was that day for me.
I did a few dishes and a little light housekeeping, but mostly I spent the day in my scraproom. I put it back together after tearing it apart so I could pack for my failed scrapping trip. Then I worked on a layout. It wasn’t a particularly outstanding layout, just a birthday page for L. But since his birthday is in September, it was a little overdue.
I was planning to work on a layout for an October call, too, but I didn’t get to it. Since the deadline is April 15 I really do need to get out my paper and photos. But now the house is somewhat under control, I think I can spend time on it tomorrow (Monday) without stressing about all the things I should be doing.
I can do laundry while I work in my scraproom, since the laundry room is just down the hall.
My photos for today were taken yesterday when I was playing with the kids and their Rubik’s cubes. A still likes to pose for me. He is a clown, but he keeps that part of his personality under wraps ~ rather like me, I guess.
I love his face.

Boy you're not kidding about A keeping it under wraps. He is so quiet around me I hardly know he's there. But the fact that Grant can't wait for him to get here speaks volumes about what I don't see.

I totally get the "no obligations" thing. My house is showing it,though.

Love what you did with the Grassroots paper, too! ;)

Maybe I can be in denial about spring for a few more weeks just to avoid cleaning? Good for you for getting it done. I just hate housework.

It like I told my babysitter the other day "I'm sorry the house is a mess I know I should have cleaned it , but I don't like to."
