Buttons and lambs

These lambs and their mothers are in a lot up the road from our house. We stoped to take a picture of them, because they were close to the fence, but when I walked over to take the shot they ran away. After I climbed back into the car DH mentioned they might have been spooked because I slammed the car door. Duhh!

Time is completely freaking me out right now. I think part of my come-apart weekend was due to daylight savings time being instated the first weekend in April. (Can you believe it was only last week?!!)
Then there is the funkiness of the internet, in which a “real time” communication can be early evening for me late evening for my East Coast girls and tomorrow for my international friends.
When I lived in southern Utah the lack of distinct seasons sometimes confused me. I recall one evening I had to run into work for a few minutes. I had just gone grocery shopping, and I didn’t want the food to spoil, or melt, in the car. But I had to stop and think for a minute was month it was. Then I realized my skin wasn’t sizzling, and I remembered it was winter.
Right now, the magazine deadlines are messing with my mind. I want to stay as current as possible with pages for my www.scrapingtrends.com design team, because I am posting them on line.
But if I am making pages for magazine calls, I’m working on October. I’m having a hard enough time keeping the cheese on my cracker without all this season/time confusion.
I suppose I should be using a planner to write down all my dates instead of trying to keep information in my head. But I’ve never managed to get the hang of a planner, either.
Sure, I love making them, writing lists, setting goals. Or I write something in it and lose the planner, or I carry around the planner and forget to put something in it.
I did manage to go outside today and saw newborn lambs and daffodils, lovely reminders that it is spring. I also (upon a tip from someone at www.twopeasinabucket.com) found some spectacular buttons at Wal-Mart. They were in the sewing section, but they are going to look so great on upcoming layouts.
I know just where to put one of them for a November layout. Now if I can figure out where I put my planner with the sketch and the deadline in it. …

A big shout out to my friends who won spots on the 3 Bugs DT, and for everyone who entered, (((hugs))) and chocolate kisses.

I understood only the lamb part of this post, so I'll comment on that. I love little lambs. they can suddenly rise three feet off the ground from a standing position. I always watch for it. I would love to see a picture of it if you ever get one. I would like to add that about the first month of a sheep's life is the only time they are cute. Grown up sheep are disgusting, unless they are all fixed up to show. I would make a terrible shepherd.

Yup, that about sums up my feelings to planners and lists and all that, too.
I gave up "heavy submitting" for Lent, LOL. Good luck with your layout. I may be forced to go to Walmart, too, darn you. I try not to!

I agree with Wyo sis and Bro Lambs are soooooo cute. I disagree with bro on one thing. I prefer pork on Gyros. PLANNERS. I hate them, always have. They are just qnother way to send you on a guilt trip! FORGETABOUTIT!
