YooHoo, it worked

Finally, I can put photos on my blog again. Brace yourself for an onslaught of work. I've been bottling it up for a long time, now I'm ready to let 'er rip! This would be the layout I mentioned in a previous post. It's the one that is "too girly" for my son. But darn it all, I gotta do flowers.
I made this clipboard as a teacher gift for DS-11's fifth grade teacher. She is retiring this year so I wanted to make something extra special for her.

And these would be the cards. I am not a card maker by nature, but I decided to take the challenge on myself to see how many different directions I could go with a limited supply of paper. The paper is all CherryArte seasons collection. All the ribbon is American Craft. The rest of the do-dads, rub-ons, etc. are an ecclecic group from my stash.

I like the cards! I'm joining a card club and am excited to get started making cards.

I love all of the stuff and the cards. Of course anything that has a picture of my child is beautiful. I love the clipboard idea. If I ever get into scrapping I think cards are the way to go.
