Note to self

1. Black furniture may be cool but it is a major pain to paint.
2. Paint dries slower in the rain.
3. When you child says his stomach hurts, believe him.
4. Don’t give red Kool-Aid to a sick child.
5. It is better to say it will take you 10 hours to do something and finish it in five, than to say it will take you five hours to do it and finish it in 10.
6. You can ignore things (bills, deadlines, grocery shopping, laundry) but they will not go away.
7. Stop digging up your garbage. (one of my favorite lessons from conference)
8. You are never done, (one of the truisms of conference)
9. It is better to want what you have than to have what you want.
9. You can have too much paper.

Amen sister. How we all do keep making mistakes! But, on the bright side:
1. The chairs are painted.
2. You usually have another chance to do all of those things you ignored.
3. Eating out is fun.
4. Having paper is better than not having paper.
5. Having children is better than not having children.
6. Time passes and we forget.
7. Everyone else has problems and some are even worse than ours.
8. Red Kool-aid IS always a mistake and so is purple, green and orange.
9. Kool-aid lemonade is good and it doesn't stain things.
10. Conference is a tremendous uplift to the spirit.
11. People who always try to see the bright side are a pain in a certain area of the body. That's why I usually don't try to see the bright side of things.
